Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening (or bleaching) is a simple, non-invasive dental treatment used to change the color of natural tooth and is an ideal way to enhance the beauty of your smile.
Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of most patients, there are a number of ways to whiten teeth. The most popular method is in office bleaching that will whiten teeth from 4-12 shades on the VITA scale. Since tooth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the newly bleached teeth.
Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up maybe needed every several years without the fear of any damage to the teeth, and more often if you smoke, drink coffee, tea, or wine.

Reasons for tooth whitening:

  1. fluorosis (excessive fluoridation during tooth development)
  2. stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.)
  3. yellow, brown stained teeth

Beyond whitening accelerator at Badawi
In our practice we offer Beyond teeth whitening procedure. It is your best choice for quickly and effectively brightening healthy smiles. Developed by an engineering team in Silicon Valley California, Beyond uses high intensity blue light at wavelength of 480 to 520 nanometers. The light is filtered over 12 000 fibers and 30 layers of coated optical glass to remove infrared and ultraviolet light, leaving only a focused beam of “cold light” in blue-cyan spectrum, which penetrates deep into the teeth, activating the whitening formula.
Beyond accelerator is used together with its special whitening formula for 45 minutes to 1 hour restoring your teeth to beautiful white!
With the cold light we are avoiding irritation of the nerves of the teeth. Beyond is a one time treatment with no side effects, whitening the teeth for up to two years. You can always repeat the whitening procedure after a year and a half to two years maintaining the whiteness of your teeth.
